As a matter of principle, I focus on the experience created by the work itself. I see this approach as carrying within it traces that naturally lead to the next step—much like in nature. While incorporating this into my practice, I aim to push the cycle one step further. Rather than concentrating on the outcome—on the scent I take in or the material I touch—I become one with the process. Rising to the surface step by step, deviating from the beginning, keeps the excitement of the next work alive. While applying to the surface, I carefully consider how each element reveals its own nature and let that shape the work.

The tension between surface and material enables the outcome to exist as a whole. Although there is no fixed subject at its core, the process constructs itself organically.
